It is a SCAM!!!! Please google it first and read up thoroughly before you do anything. Didn't you think it was funny that they do not have an address, phone number, etc.?

Do your research. There are more than just a few people blending their own oil. Some with newer trucks but I would start out with an older one. The indirect injected engines are supposed to do better.
There's a thread on the Turbo Diesel Resource(edit:Register, not Resource) website where they have been blending for quite a few miles. Some people use the Diesel Secret and some don't. The author of the thread has run several trucks for over 40 thousand miles on the stuff so far.
Allison1 Thanks for the insight. I have a 03 6.9 cummins. Has 100K. I am still reseraching. I need to do something, either sell it or ? Thanks for your help. James

I think you can read this thread. Its got more reading than you could do in one night but a ton of information on different blending methods. They are really into it and so far the results are pretty amazing.
Allison1 You are right about the topic.Much appreicated.I think I am dangerous now. LOL...I am on the verge of giving it a try.I'll keep all posted on the results.. Just ordered all the parts. I've find a place that will supply 50 gal (weekly) of soy oil for free. Hope to make my first batch next week. james
bs the chemical cost more per gal than that ,you still need the oil get the setup and do it right and if you can get a free supply of oil you might make for about a 1.25 and besides look at the folks in the commercial can you see any of them driving a diesel

To do it right you either use the crystals he has which I wouldn't trust or heat the oil and stir it a couple hours to get the moisture out. Filtering would require a barrrel or two which are cheap. Most of the places that give it away like to have you leave them a barrel to empty into. Then you come by and pump out the barrel.
You also mix other chemicals with the oil so .46 cents is probably a low number but 70 cents is probably high. If you can get the oil free and its a relatively clean source.
I understand there is a gentleman down here in SE TX, Fannett to be exact that is selling biodiesel for 1.10 a gallon. The kicker is you have to buy at least 250 gallons at a shot. Apparently he has a pretty nice setup and the stuff he sells is decent.

texcajun,
Do you have any specifics about this guy such as his location, contact information, etc.? Although I live in the DFW area, I drive down that way once every few months and buying 250 gallons is no big deal for a price like that. Of course, bio quality would be my first question.
Texcajun, I would also like some more info about this guy and the quality of the diesel. I know nothing about bio diesel but if its legit I would drive to Fannett with a 10,000g tank.
I would be careful buying it unless you are using it on a farm or off road. That is untaxed fuel and you can not use it lawfully on a public road.
i wonder if you have land in rural areas you can make your truck a 'farm truck' and run BD? makes sense to me. i knew a guy whos parents owned a bit of land and their farm truck was a f350 lariat 4x4 that saw the better part of texas new mexico and colorado.

I believe with biodiesel you can LEGALLY make 400 gallons per year w/out being taxed. Me personaly, I run home brewed biodiesel in my truck and my brothers.
