Me and the old man went out yesterday evening to see what the lake looked like. Saw no signs of the green algae. Water was clear. Trolled some mid lake humps and marked a lot of bait, but very few fish. Managed one 14 inch black bass. Found some white bass surfacing in the salt cedars on a shallow point. They didn't stay up for very long. Caught three on a silver kastmaster with only two being keepers. Put out some bait at sundown and caught one 12 inch crappie.

Lake has some water but it is far from being what it was in the late 80's and early 90's.

I think I'll stick with going to Ivie for at least another year.
