Wow, after a busy run and some computer problems. I am back to posting some reports. I will start posting weekly now that things have slowed down. The fishing here has been hot. The falling lake levels have really condensed the fish if you find one there are a lot more with it. The lake is aprox. 18ft low
and the grass is starting to come up really well in some areas and not in others. We have been averaging between 30 to 60+ fish days and most between 2-6lbs. Most of those fish are being caught on a 5" wacky-rig Yum Dinger and on windy days T-rig and C-rig Dingers. Superspooks and chuggers in the babybass
pattern have produced some great topwater action on cloudy days. The swimbait bite has been good on cloudy or windy days which we have had plenty of. We have been concentrating our efforts on main river ledges and creek bends that have at least 25ft in the channel. Colors have been kept simple to greens when the sun is out and smoke or junebug when the clouds are present. Here are a few pics from some recent trips ignore the date on the pic as they are wrong I do not know how to set the date on the camera! I understand fish not photography lol.
