All of us men have those dishes that we cook for ourselves that the better half either frowns at or you only get to eat when she goes out of town.
Other than being able to eat sardines in the house ChiliMac is another dish that is only consumed around here when I have full control of the menu for the night.
Add to the list. It could be anything. BBQ is a given, so list off dishes that get cooked inside and mostly when your baching it for the weekend.
ChiliMac
1 med onion diced
6 cloves garlic minced
1 pound hamburger meat
3 Tablespoons chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon of cumin
some salt
2 serrano chilis minced
2 boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese dinner
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup of margerine
In a large pot boil the macaroni noodles as directed on the package.
In a skillet, add the hamburger, onion, serrrano and garlic and cook until the meat is brown and the onions are soft. Add the other spices and mix well to coat all of the meat. Add the cheese powder and mix to coat all the meat. Add the margerine and milk. Mix well to form a loose cheesy chili sauce.
Drain the noodles and return to the large pot. Pour the chili/cheesy sauce over the top and mix all together well.
Sprinkle with some parmesian cheese if you want or eat as is.
I kill myself with this stuff but, it's gooooood!
