INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY. Alot of people have been confused over the matter, and in fact, even many who should know better (magazine and newspaper writers) have commonly stated the ICW as the "Intercoastal Waterway." But an examination of English prefixes yields the desired result: "inter" meaning "between and among" vs. "intra" meaning "inside or within". The ICW is not "between" coasts, instead, it is "within" the coastal region.
Intracoastal Waterway And yes, I do fish the Gulp! under a popping cork, but mostly, I like to fish them attached to a 1/8 to 1/4 ounce jighead with a fairly large hook. There are a few jigheads on the market made with VMC or Gamakatsu hooks that are what I usually hook the Gulp! onto.
