Q) Where EXACTLY is the event held?

Q) What time does it start, what times does it end?

Q) Is this a fishing, eating, or both event?

Q) If fishing, is it primarily a bank or boating event?

Q) Is there any fees, if so what are they?

Q) What fishing supplies, food, drinks should I bring?

Q) What time does the park close? I may want to wet a line or 2 for other species after the fish fry. wink

Thanks!

Lemme see if I can answer some of these:

Q) Where EXACTLY is the event held?
Fairfield Lake in the State Park. The main ramp has a fish cleaning area and a big area where we can cook and eat.

Q) What time does it start, what times does it end?
Fishing starts at 7:00 am (I am sure you can start at 5:00 am if you are fired up). The fish fry is supposed to start around noon.

Q) Is this a fishing, eating, or both event?
YES BOTH

Q) If fishing, is it primarily a bank or boating event?
Either. Fishing from a boat requires a fishing license for those over 16 years old. Bank fishing requires no license for anyone.

Q) Is there any fees, if so what are they?
Park entrance fees are the onle fees I know of. No fee to fish with us or eat.

Q) What fishing supplies, food, drinks should I bring?
Check the posts here that have to do with the fish fry. You'll see a list. Contact WACO KID and he can tell you what we need.

Q) What time does the park close? I may want to wet a line or 2 for other species after the fish fry
Not sure. Call the park office and they can tell you. There is no gate, so I think it would be an honor system after hours.
