Looking for a good clean place on Stamford with RV hookups and maybe a swimming area for the kids. Going there for a tournament but want to take the family.

I do alot of artwork for TACO campgrounds and thought I'd look up the area RV campgrounds for you. Looks like Abilene is the closest place for major campgrounds. But, the lake does have 2 camping areas right on the water with hookups. Might try there.

Stamford Park (325/773-2411) has picnic sites, camping areas with hook-ups, cabins, and a fishing house.

Silo Scott Memorial Park (940/864-3779) has picnic and camping areas with hook-ups.

Don't know if that helps . . .
