I just started trying jigs without spinner rigs. I like a 1/32 oz jig for its #8 hook, but it just wouldn't cast far enough. I have 1/16oz jigs, but the #4 hooks are too big.

Tonight I tied three 1/8 inch cyclops beads onto the jig, leaving room up front for the tube. A few coats of glue and I was ready to go.

Much better. Now I can cast it like it has the spinner rig.
