Anyone ever tried it? I would like to have some fresh corn on the cob with the shuck on if possible at work. Only have a microwave to work with. Any ideas how to do it?
You can remove a portion of the husks, or not and microwave on High for 5-7 minutes for 3-4 ears. I put mine in a large Ziploc bag to hold even more moisture and help steam the corn too.
walmart has some sweet yellow already cooked corn in the frozen section. taste deeeelicious out of the wave.

I'd soak the entire thing in water for about 30 minutes. Then, I'd peel back that husk and silk and throw a big blob of butter in there. Then, I'd micro it in plastic wrap for a few minutes. Nice and juicy.

Yup just 3 mintues an ear, throw husk and all in the microwave push 3 mintues, then High-cook. We've been eating that way for years You can add butter and salt after it cooks, don't worry you can't really over cook it, if you use 3 - 5 mintues. Straight from the field
