Hi getreal. For Bluegill, the Prince Nymph has been consistent for me.
For Bass, an Olive/Green Wooly Bugger was working in clearer ponds and cooler weather, but now a Black Ghost Streamer in Marabou seems to be taking them.

Has anyone fished in Woodland's Lake? I might be going there on Monday and I'm trying to figure out what would be the best bait and what I should expect to catch there?

Fished the creek at Towne Lake in Mckinney this afternoon. The creek was murky and shallow but was flowing. Managed to catch a small fish on a White Crappie Jig Fly using flyfishing gear; missed several others with short strikes on the fly. Pictures posted in the link below.

I am not sure. I tie the fly using an x-small lead dumbell for the eyes. Estimate less than 1/32 oz.

I fished the ponds in Colleyville yesterday. No bass, but for fun, I put on a dry fly (green grasshopper) - on my spinning rod and floated it. Caught a ton of bluegill. Great fun

Fished the pond behind Davis Library in Plano. Caught a Bluegill and a Tilapia using flyfishing gear. Also, saw a large Koi and had multiple Bass chasing my fly; just could not strike fast enough before the fish spit it out. Pictures posted in the link below.

Went to Warren in Frisco last night, got a 3lb LMB on a yellow crank. Nothing else working, got a few nibbles on a sinko and a guy 20 feet down from me was catching crappies on night crawlers.

Fished Bethany Lakes Main Pond, Back Pond, and Waterfall Pool this evening. Had to leave early due to the thunderstorm but was able to catch the usual suspects - Sunfish and Bluegill on a Gangle-Legged Fly and an Olive Wooly Bugger. Also, caught a 9" Bass on a Black Marabou Streamer. Pictures posted in the link below.

Anybody know of any ponds around the Hurst/Bedford area that hold bass? Looking for something close to the house...

Will defer to others in the metroplex on Bass in the Hurst/Bedford area ...
FYI - Fished Erwin Park in McKinney for a chance at the small Bass. Water level was lower since the last time we stopped by. However, the Bass were still there; caught 8 on a Crappie Jig Fly Variant. Pictures posted in the link below.
