I went for a night/day session at my Grandparents house last night, and today. All the sessions I have done over there have ended in a blank fest, but what about this one??
Keep reading!! We got there a lot later then I had hoped yesterday, but oh well. I was setting up at about 5:30pm, and the night session was uneventful for me despite my brother hauling tiny catfish. We stopped at about 11:00pm and called it a night. I did how ever take this one pic.

I slept in later then I had hoped, we cooked up breakfast and headed out about 8:00 or so. I had low hopes for the last part of the session, and did not fish to seriously. Then at about 9:30am I was setting by my pod, and my bro ran up behind me because he got a bite on his rod, so I turned to see what he was doing and I hear.... "Beeeep, beeep, beeep, beep,Beeeep, beeep, beeep, beep." so I set the hook and the fight was on!! The result of the fight was this nice lill' 10lb 11oz buff!

So I cast back out, and just 12 minutes later my alarm again rang out... "Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep!" And I was hooked in to my 2nd fish of the session!! This fish was a tad more spunky, and hit the scales at 14lbs 2ozs! BUT, while unhooking the fish my sister landed a tiny redfish!!
I have to say, I've never been slapped by a fish, but this buff hit me right in the nose and rang my bell for a while.
My 14lb 2oz buff....

My sisters redfish...

After that the fish again stoped biting. But unlike all the other sessions I did here, this one produced buffalo, and everyone caught fish!
In my mind, this session was a huge success!
Till Next Time,
