I know that I am at least a week late getting this posted, but I thought I would post anyway. Friday morning we put in a Governor, went straight across the lake and started throwing plastics in about 15' of water. My partner caught a good 5+ lb. on his second cast and it continued to get better as the day went on. At about 9:am we headed for the Mexico side (in spite of the wind) and caught around 40 fish before 1pm. We did have a couple of 4-5 lb. fish and one over 6 pounds.. We headed back to the ramp at 1pm, had lunch, nap, and went back out about 4:30. Headed over to San Pedro and the bite really kicked in about 6:30.. Caught several good fish- 4-5 lbs and a couple over 6 lbs. All were caught on plastics in about 15-20' of water. We caught at least 40 more fish that afternoon and evening.

Saturday was not as good, but we still managed a couple of fish from 5.5-6 lbs and total fish counted in the upper 40 range. Still the wind was howling-- didn't even try to make it to the Mexican side.. Worms of choice on both days seemed to be pumpkin seed with Chart. tails and Red Flake.. We also caught several fish on DT-6 crankbaits..

The surpising thing to me was that we only caught a handful of dinks.. Almost all the fish we caught were keepers. Can't wait to go back...
