I have a new Newell 440 and need a rod for it. Obvious choices from salt water boards point to the seeker or cal star lines, would one of the tiger sticks or american rodsmith or other rods be good for tuna etc with this reel?

I like the one piece Ugly Stik Tigers. I've been looking at getting one with an Abu 6500c3 for catfishing. Look and feel tough enough.
