Very simple. Stop and don't over think it. The third battery just goes between the other two. Unhook the jumper from one side of the two batteries that are already hooked together and put the third battery between them making sure the third battery is in there so it has the positive post closest to the battery that has the positive cable going to the trolling motor and the negative is closest to the battery that has the negative going up to the trolling motor. Now take the jumper you already have and hook it to the battery next to it and then you will have to get another jumper for the other side. Now you have one battery that has the positive going to the trolling motor that will jumper the negative to the positive of the middle battery, Now you have the battery that has the negative that goes to the trolling motor that the jumper will go from the positive post to the negative post of the new battery in the middle. Walk through it and if you have any questions call me and I will be more then happy to walk you through it on the phone. Good luck 612-590-5833

No! Be careful, you're dealing with a lethal amount of current.

It has to be just like Mr. Charge described.

3 batteries in a row -
trolling motor to batt1(+),
batt1(-) to batt2(+),
batt2(-) to batt3(+),
batt3(-) to trolling motor.
