Just got back from fishing Onion Creek, at McKinney Fall SP. Me and the wife had a good time doing a little wade fishing this morning. Creek is not really flowing. Not enough water. But, still plenty of fishable holes. Water is a little murky for my taste. Not sure if it is always like this, or what. But, we did catch a few bass and bluegill. She caught them on Roostertails. I caught several nice bluegills on Guadalupe Greenies, and a couple of largemouths on a chartruese and white clouser with red eyes. One of the largemouths was around 2#s and put a nice bend in my rod.

That said, I think we may try and wade fish, Little or Big Webberville Park, on Friday morning. Anybody wade fished the Colorado, at either of those parks, before?

I cut my teeth fly fishing Onion Creek. My very first bass on the fly was a 5# taken on a black woolly bugger just west of the 35 bridge back in my early 20's. I love fishing onion creek and have waded for hours. I taught my son how to fly fish in Onion Creek as well
