We have stayed at the Surfside in the past. Nothing fancy but has a fenced pool and a lighted pier.

The Sandollar is pretty reasonable, and they have a lighted pier. They have a website, with lots of pics, along with their rates. Don't remember if they have a pool, but I see kids swimming in the bay off their private park. It's an older place, but clean, and the plumbing is good. Alice Fay's, which makes a memorable half-pound hamburger, is just across the street. Don't know if they will rent for just one night on a weekend, though.
