Look at the new line of Triton 18 foot Explorer's.

Triton saw this trend developing a couple of years ago and started to work on this boat package.

Now you can have the ride of a glass boat at the price of an aluminum! So basically you can have your cake and eat it too!

Right now they are on sale for $16,995! That is even cheaper than the Tracker Tournament V 18.

Here is the specs of the two boats:

Triton Dry Weight: 1202 Lbs
Tracker Dry Weight: 1152 Lbs

Triton Beam: 92 Inches
Tracker Beam: 87 Inches

Plus, Triton builds one of the best boats in the industry. So don't rule out a glass boat. You don't have to go with a big 20 or 21 footer to get what you want.

I'm running a TR-186 right now and love it. Easy to tow, great on fuel, rides great. This is my 3rd Triton now.

Nice looking boat!!

I have a 17'2" fiberglas and buddy has a 18'6" aluminum. Main difference in the water is rough water ride and difficulty with boat control in the aluminum, even in mild wind conditions. Other wise, lot less maintenance on alum.

My only hope is that you don't buy a tracker, you'll regret it and have sad stories for the rest of your life. Buy anything else.
