Going to be headed to Crystal Beach in about a week and a half. I'm wondering what are some good places to eat are around the Bolivar area. I know there are not the chain restraunts there. More of local mom and pop places. I enjoy those types of places. Just wondering if anyone has eating at any.

Stingaree. They had a fire recently, but should be open again. Great food and Margaritas, nice view.

Stingaree is good food and nice view. There is an Italian place on the main road that is ok. One other seafood place off the main and it is good. There are a couple of others. Pull a Google on Crystal Beach and you can get all of them. Also, not bab going back to Galveston one nite.

What kinds of food do they serve? How are Stingarees prices? I'm definatley gonna try it out. There will only be and a buddy there for a week on a fishing trip. So we will be looking for the good places to hang out, eat, drink, etc.

The seafood is excellent. Never had steak or chicken, so can't comment on that. Great margaritas. Check out Mr. Beasley while you are there.
