I just bought a 21ft. SeaPro CC in Feb. 08. I put a MotorGuide 75# Wireless 60 inch shaft 24 volt on it. After two weeks the motor quit. The dealer put a new one on. In April the lower unit on it started to leak. Two weeks out of service to fix it. Today while fishing RR the shaft splintered.

I want to replace it with a MinnKota. Which one would be best? The boat weighs 2700lbs.

I have a 80# riptide on a 19ft. cc. Works good, even in the wind.

I also have the 80lb Minn Kota Riptide Pro on my 22ft Deckboat....great trolling motor.
