While I was reading a fly fishing magazine recently I noticed that in one of the articles they mentioned something called "Stick Guard". It is a strip of clear plastic where one end goes over the hook eye and then you imbed the point of the hook into the other end, making it weedless. Has anyone ever used it?? Bill Sankey, does BasspPro sell it?? does it work???

Kliff if you tied flies you'd have all kinda stuff that could be substituted for that, so get to it man!

Sounds interesting. So this is an after market store bought product that fits on while tying or afterwards on completed flies?

I Googled Bass Pro's site but did not find them. Kind of a generic name and unless they are paying big bucks for web presence might be hard to get to (at least it's been the case for me)
