UPDATE: Tawakoni Lake Record Flathead

Lamar Evans caught a 72 lb. Flathead while fishing the Cabela's KingKat tourney on 5-17-08. This surpassed the previous lake record of 62 lbs.
Cabela's KingKat officials have completed the calibration/certification process (scales) to the satisfaction of TPW. Jody Evans of TPW has all the documentation..
Lamar should be receiving official notification that he is the new record holder any day now...

It's so good to hear that he'll get the credit he deserves. I'm glad Cabelas did the right thing by getting their scale certified by TPWD standards.
