Thinking about making a trip down there in late June. I have an 8yr old, 12yr old, and the "ball and chain". smile

Thought we might stay there 3-4 nights and maybe even go to Sea World in SA one day.

We have a camper by the way.

Opinions please...

Garner is on the Frio River not the Guadalupe.

That aside, yes, Garner is a great park. You might be out of luck trying to get a site reserved for this year though. It is a very popular park.

We have been there a few times. The park is on the Frio river.

They have an old section and a newer section. The old section is close to the water and pavillion but gets packed out. The newer section is a little further but more spacious.

Reservations can be hard to come by.

Check out South LLano State Park. We liked it better but it is further from the water...www.wildtexas.com has a lot of info.

Edit....beat out by seconds
