chicken liver and sand bass and hybrid striper livers are the best catfish baits there are. Shame it's illegal(so i have been told on this forum) to use the sandie and hybrid livers! I had a huge carton of em stored in my freezer until i was told i couldn't use em. No matter though, thawed em out and my 4 cats and a few feral alley cats had a feast!
