Has anyone fished Alan Henry in the last week. I plan on going Thrusday or Friday to see if anything is left after the Memorial Day weekend. Any information would be nice.

Fished last Friday and Saturday morning. Fishing was good. Left about 10 AM on Saturday when all the idiots started showing up. On the drive back to Lubbock we passed 32 boats headed towards the lake.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I won't run into any graduation parties out there. Sometimes I think drinking and boating is worse than drinking and driving.

You should be alright. I have found unless the lake is really crowded, the pleasure boaters hang out in different areas then the fishermen.

I started late on Saterday about 8:30 and fished until 12:30 and the idiots were still showing up. Driving back to Big Spring I saw at least 25 boats coming in from the highway.
The Bite!!!! Was good until the sun came out(about 12:00)Same time the skiers came out. That lake can really get rough with no wind!!!!
The top water was good, cranks were good and even found one on a bed. I had several hits dragging a texas rig close to the flooded ceders, most likely buck bass still guarding or sunfish!
