I put my crankcase halves together 2 and a half days ago with gel seal.

It still feels alot like it did when I put it on... Like Gel.

I assumed the gel would harden... Is it supposed to? Or is it supposed to stay alot like it is.

I didn't use the primer before hand (because the boat shop owner said no one has used that stuff in 10 years).
Either way though it's still been about 60 hours now.

That stuff is "anaerobic" which means it doesn't harden while exposed to air. Between the halves should be cured.
