Got my powerhead back form TMW (Texas Machine Works) today and it looks great... Dwayne did a great job on it. I'll post pics later, to show how good it looks.

But my problem is when putting together the Crank case and the power head, there is no gasket for it... instead in the manual it says :
Apply a light coating of Johnson/Evinrude Locquic Primeror equivalent to the mating flange of crankcase half and let dry.
Then apply a light coating of Johnny Rude Gel-Seal 2 or equivalent to the cylinder block flange.

My question is do I have to use these 2 products? It says i can use an equivalent... So whats close enough to this product to use???

My local parts store had gasket sealants and gasket makers and stuff, but I'm afraid to put something on and have it leak... then I have to tear it all apart again.
