Fished this weekend in Lafitte, about 30 minutes south of New Orleans. First time in that specific area, usually fish Myrtle Grove or Venice. Lafittes water is pretty dirty from the month of solid 20mph winds, if you are planning on going, I would give it a couple of weeks. Caught 5 redfish on the fly stick and 1 on a topwater. 3 to 7lbs. About 40% of what I have been doing. I think the Myrtle Grove area is nicer fly fishing water after doing them both btw. Few pics attached.
