Last weekend at the Fina Dock I caught a limit of reds and released 12 more. I also got a limit of trout. When the tide stopped moving the fish stopped biting.

What method did you use to fish that area?....boat placement, presentation, etc.....I've seen people back in there amongst the pilings...what's the easiest way to anchor/tie up in there?
When you leave the Port go across the channel. Go to the right and go under the last old unused cargo dock. Thats the Fina dock.
I appreciate the info. I plan to go back there in June. unfortunately, I'm landlocked when I fish there. My little boat wouldn't get me around in the bay very well. Time to buy a kayak!!

***I Love to fish, but I'd rather catch!***
I tie off close to shore along the drop off. Let out about 10 feet of rope, so the boat will not hit againt the walkway. Bounce the bait off the bottom. Shrimp, crabs, mullet will work. I use 20 lbs test and broke off at least 5 times.
Thanks for that report. I'm headed down in a few day's and hope too catch a few. I've fished that area a few times. There's alot of old cables and structure piled up under there. Do you fish with a treble or single hook and was it early or late. Im only going to be there 3 day's and would like to narrow it down so I can do more catching and not so much fishing. I'm just lazy that way. Ha ha
