17 Inch Ivie Crappie

Fished the Bull Hollow Arm of Ivie last night. Caught a ton of 9 inch white bass and few crappie. One crappie went 17 inches. The Days Catch  The big crappie next to a 12 inch crappie and white bass  Thats a big slab  JT

Not 17 inches... but a GREAT crappie none the less!! Ruler says its close to 17". Dont know what your seeing. Looks like the ruler is behind the lower lip a little.

In the pics the fish was almost frozen solid. (It had been on ice all night) When we caught it measured 17 1/4 with the mouth closed and the tail pinched. I'd be happy to take a polygraph if it would make any of you sleep easier.  JT
