Went out there for about 5 hours today. Only managed 3 bass about 2 or 3 lbs a piece. Seen two cotton mouths, one was in a tree and i got a good picture of it was probably like 5'' in diameter. The other was swimming and it was about 6' long first time i've ever seen an actuall cotton mouth usually i just see the regular water snakes. I got a little too close to the one i took the picture of the wind blew me up against the tree he was in almost had a heart attack....

Yeah be careful. I was out on travis a couple of weeks ago and my uncle had to swat one away from coming in the boat with us...they don't make great co-anglers.

Yea if that thing had gotten into my boat i would have been swimming. I can handle snakes, just not the venomous ones. I was literally shaking after that little incodent hahah.
