BBrown, no need to worry. I only make the trip once a year to get my bluegill 'fix'. I'm sure I left a few for you and everyone else.

Reeds were mostly in too shallow of water. Positioned my boat in 8' of water and threw my bobber towards the bank varying my depth until I found them. Caught every one in one spot at a depth of 4 1/2 feet right off the bottom. Anchored my boat after catching the first one and never moved.
