Finally got up! again.. LOL Dang, blues put a hurt on me today.

What a great bunch of folks that came down and brought the TSA Tourney to Belton. Thank you Danny and Randy!

BTW, I want to welcome Pat and Charlie to the Belton Bunch! They live in Moffet overlooking the lake and fishes out of a 22' Sea Pro. Say hi to them if you see um.. Was nice meeting you two, don't forget the 31st if time permits.

Good morning Belton Bunch . Moving slower than normal today. Fishing hard for 10 hours for two days straight. Doing my best to find and catch bait and also to put my teammates into hybrids while fighting a full on allergy attack has taken some starch out of my sails . This tournament stuff is work and takes a different mindset than "just fishing", but it is a blast . DBones I'm glad I came through for you but you should of put more on me. If there is an empty seat to be filled I will find it. I thought "The Shallow Blonde" might sink if she got into rough seas . MrG loaded her up with 1 deckhand for EVERY pole. I guess he did not want to miss any bites. Still it was fun to watch when a hooked hybrid tried to circle the boat(lots of movement and "talking")

Thanks for that tip, I'll try it next time, I don't know where all the trees are and the lake level did rise up some. Bait was easy to find and they were of good size.




I do like hearing they enjoy the chicken and I enjoy making it everytime for any GTG. Next is the Fish Fry but with twice the amount with an extra twist LOL!!

Watched ESPN for hours and I got nothing about the fishing tournament............What is wrong with them........think I will cancel my cable........

Thanks Dave! TSA will post the results when they get back home. Takes a day to two. Bait is abundant up the creek, just be careful where you cast, lots of the little shrubs are covered with water now.

Got the boys up early and headed to the lake. We were there by 5:45AM. Shad were easy to find and the fishing was good. The smiles it produced were priceless. Quite a few whites, a 22" hybrid, 21" hybrid, and an 18"er. What a beautiful morning. God Bless.

I know its been a while sience my last post but I haven't had any thing to brag about.

I fixed that!

This is just this morning. We ended up with 23 catfish. the big one was 14.5 lbs. 12 whites and a bunch of emty blue cans.

looks like some nice fillets there DD, you get those on belton?
