We are planning on going this weekend. Probably on Sunday. Are the bass biting? Are they up shallow? Any fish still on beds? Any help would be appreciated. I'm taking my dad and little brother out and they don't get to fish that much so I would like to put them on some.

I've had a little luck on the secondary points and in some of the shallow areas fishing the c - rig slow... Good luck and have fun....

I went out yesterday (Fri) morning and had a good topwater bite going until the clouds went away. I was throwing a yellow magic around flooded grass and cedar trees.
I couldn't find any milfoil on the lake. Did it all die during last summer's flood??

yep, all of the milfoil died when the water came up. I haven't found any, but some people have found some hydrilla. I have seen some floating milfoil that was very green so it has to be growing somewhere.

I would start at deep drop offs that run into flats that are protected from wind. I went last weekend and the bass I caught were feeding off the flats and moving on and off secondary points.

Morning: pop'r and buzzbait, jig or t-rig baby brushhog pitched to brush later in the day.

Mid-day: go southwest of Wolf island with a coke and a jigging spoon and catch the millions of sandies that will be there.
