Went out to grapevine this morning to try my luck at cats for the 2nd time, ever fishing just for catfish; mmmmmm. I used to be only a bass fishermen but I thank I’m starting to like these BIG cats. I don’t know if I’m just lucky or what but my dad and I got even more cats then on Monday and bigger cats. The biggest was 20 / 22 lb (did not have a good scale so it could have been bigger) 36 inches long 22 inch girth. The thing mad a big old wave when it took off. I’ll post photos tomorrow or Monday.

I was in the same boat as you.. strictly a bass fisherman, but I do not have a boat yet so I have been chasing cats from the shore.. nothing huge.. maybe 2 to 3 pounders.. but they sure are fun.
