I've always used/bought Falcon Rods. I have to say after my recent experience with their customer service I will remain a customer for life.
I had one of their LCF-5-1610 Eakins Jig Special rods break on me. Like most, I never sent in the warranty information. I went to their website to see what I needed to do about getting the rod replaced. After seeing the information about return address, $20 check for shipping, and warranty information needed I figured Falcon would contact me to pay the "out of warranty replacement" that they offer on their rods. Much to my surprise on my doorstep yesterday afternoon was a new rod covered under warranty. Hats off to Falcon for taking care of a customer even though the rod was less than 5 years old, but I couldn't prove it.
Here's the kicker. I put the rod in the mail last Wednesday, May 7th. I got it back yesterday. That's a week for them to get the rod in the mail, process it, put it back in the mail, and get to me. I was impressed. Figured I would pass along the word as you generally hear more bad experiences rather than good with customer service.
