I was planning on fishing this weekend at Lewisville...

Are there public boat ramps and docks?

I ask this because I put in at Hubbard and there was no dock to tie onto to get my trailer out of the water... So I cut my foot pretty badly on the rocks trying to get to my truck/trailer.

How is the fishing?

Any help would be much appreciated...

Arrowhead Park and Tower Bay both have courtesy docks as does the one north of The Colony (I think it's called Stewart Park or Hidden Cove), also the ramp in Little Elm at the 720 bridge. Come to think of it, all of the ramps I know of on Lewisville have courtesy docks. Having said that, my advice would be to be extremely careful out there on the weekends, lots of pleasure boat traffic and some BIG boats too. Also, a good dose of patience at the ramps will be necessary at times. Haven't fshed there lately so can't offer any current info, sorry.

Thanks for the advice, I will not be there Saturday now due to the tourney (My '78 Ranger can't get out fast enough to get any good spots compared to their high faluting boats wink ) Thanks guys!

I had my best day bass fishing, last weekend on Lewisville. I was throwing a T-Rig, rattlesnake in the Trophy Hunter color. Caught 3 in about 2 hours. 2 4lbers and a 6lber.
