Take a look at the pic below. I got that Humminbird 215 for Christmas an have only used it 3 times. Last night we had about 3 inces of rain. I normally leave my trolling motor's fishing finder mounted to the front deck. The deck was not under water and had no water on the deck when I found the humminbird in the state below. Well when I look at it today, it looks like the pic below and has moisture in it. I though these things were rain/water proof to a point? Hid I been out fishing in the rain I would have had the same thing. I did not have the power plug or transducer plugged into it since my last outing. I have not tried to power it on. Should I just try to get it replaced under the warranty, or should I let it try to dry out and try to use it?

It leaked. Humminbird is good to repair it. Have had it done before. Hope it's still in warranty.

It should be still under warranty. Give them a call, they will take care of you.
