Does anyone know anything about the fishing around Destin. It will be just myself and my son so a charter will not be feasible. Maybe a party boat or some surf / bay wading. I think that I would prefer the bay over the surf but would do whatever is best.

My son & I went out in the bay with a guide down there a couple of summers ago. It was pretty cool. Saw a water spout (cyclone). Caught several nice specks. My son hooked up with a big redfish, but it got off.

I don't remember the guide service, but they were located at the docks by the bridge coming into town. Found them on the net.
