Hey guys, just wanted to give everyone the heads up. The time has come and the new Cobra boats are back! Anaconda Boats in Wisconsin has started building the Cobras again. If you are in the market for a new Cobra, let me know. I'll be taking care of the great state of Texas. cool There will also be a new opportunity for you guys just needing a hull. More info soon on that. The website, Anaconda Boats, will be up soon. We would also like a picture of your Cobra so if you'd like your Cobra posted on the site, please send me a picture of it.

If you have any questions or looking to get into a new Cobra, email me at bryan@texashawgs.com. Production is just starting up. There's also more info on BassBoatCentral.

Thanks...

These boats will not be produced for dealer lots. Custom throughout and any way you want them. There will be individuals dealing in each state. I am here to take care of my Texas brothers and sisters. smile

Please email all your Cobra pics to me at bryan@texashawgs.com.

Thanks...

The hull warranty will be taken care of by the main office in Wisconsin. All products installed on the hull will be
warranted by the company who manufactures them or the dealer who sold them. I will help where ever I can to help customers get their warranties and products taken care of. As far as defective products, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly.

Good question. Thanks...

So let me see if I'm following you.

I buy a new boat and like any other boat, after a few months, it has a few bugs to work out. Let's say for instance that a livewell pump stops working, the gas guage is not reading correctly and one of the compartment lids is leaking.

I either have to .......

A. Take the boat to Wisonsin

or

B. contact the manufacturer of the problem part and replace it myself.

Am I on track here ?

i think everyone gets your point Tx Smoke.... just tell em they suck and be done with it...

I applaud the efforts of the company trying to rectify the situation with Cobra boats. I also think the price point should reflect the lack of local dealers to repair the warranty issues that WILL arise. you will have to be mechanically inclined to own one of these boats as you will be the one removing the parts to send to the manufacturer to be warranty replaced. the motors can be worked on by local dealers. like I said- i sure hope the price point reflects this lack of, or its gonna be a long rocky road...... i heard a number thrown around - somewhere in the range of a 40% reduction in boat sales here lately.... dont know if it has any merit, but it seems very reasonable in this economy.

Please refrain from putting words in my mouth. I happen to be in the market for a boat since selling mine and I like the Cobra hulls. I'm just asking the same questions that I would ask if I was in a dealer's showroom looking at the boat. There's no hidden agenda here, just trying to get some information.

That's a very politically correct "statement"!

I'd be glad to give you all the answers if I had them. wink There will definitely be a monetary benefit of owning a Cobra. Do you think all the other boats are worth the $50k plus they're selling for or at least asking for? You're paying for that warranty right up front. I wonder what the cost difference between a $50k boat and a $50k car is. A ton I bet. You will save $12-20k buying a Cobra. Another advantage that we are offering is that you can buy the hull alone with gas tank completely stripped of anything and you can then completely customize it with anything you want. How cool is that? There may even be the possibility of having dual piggy back gas tanks and using the remaining big tank for dry storage, cooler in seats, etc. We are still working out all the details and I'll share when I find out more. Building the hulls has already started and the first one is half done and should go out soon.

Again, thanks for the interest and look for the site soon.
