westtx61 the Legends at Fork is the same weekend & they are giving away a new fully rigged Legend plus 210,000.00 in prize money which includes 6 hourly prizes. So I bet a lot of the DFW area will be there. It may just be us west Texas guys at Hubbard.

I had to call the office and verify the late fee for the entry though. The flyer I had stated that there was a late fee of $25 each day. Then a little further down it stated that it was just a flat rate of $25.

I didn't want to pay $50 bucks in late fees to fish the tournament, but I think i can give up the extra $25 to fish both days.

if im not mistaken i think they have waved the late fees

they have changed the late fee to the 16th of may

What time are they going to be ready for entries in the morning?

Caught fish all day long on day one.. Hauled one little guy @2.5 lbs around all day in the live well, just waiting for the right hour. NEVER came. Sounded like some of the guys out there, were on them pretty well.

Day 2 should change it up a little bit.

I thought there would be bigger fish caught ,heard lots of stories of losing some but you know how that goes.I talked to the guy that won it ,he lives there and that 7.9 was the biggest he has ever caught

Yeah, that was my dad. 7.93# on a jig. His biggest fish ever and first fish on a jig.

Are you planning on a fall tournament or just a spring one every year?

There was a fall stringer tournament annouced out there again for Sept 13-14 I believe.

I think they are still up in the air about the fall tourny as soon as i find out ill post it

How well do you think the tournament went this weekend?

My part of the tourny sucked. All I caught were fish that had their eyeballs and a$$hole to close together except for the 4 lb. channel cat I caught on a RC 1.5. Plus Friday I got water in the gas I bought at Walmart in Graham and had to dump 50 gals. of gas. Had 15 gals of water in the 50 gals I bought. However the tournament was run just fine. I think the reason for the lower than expected turnout was because of the Legends tournament at Fork and the WTT tournament at Amistad.
