if the water is decent you can drift fish the lower lake with lead head jigs tipped with culprit style worms. i have always caught fish this way. use some bright colors. 8-12ft over the oyster shell

Check the reports on sabineconnection.com. Mabe even call your guide. He probably wont mind giving you a heads up on some spots. Sorry I couldnt be anymore help, ive been working way to much. I havent checked if its there but post this in the inshore fish reports for more responses. Good luck.

When Jaret was speaking of the lower lake one of the more productive areas would be the oyster beds just NE of Hwy 83 that crosses into La. at the actual Pass. Boat ramps are tricky here as they are repaired to some extent since Hurricane Rita. From what I hear the ramps om the lake side are the only open ones as the Humphry State Park ones on the ship channel side of the road are being used by the construction company building the new bridge there. Also Look up Tally's Tackle in Groves and see if they can give you some pointers.

Flounder should be real good right now!
