I researched the best deal on certifying my Boga Grip. $25 plus S&H (if you don’t take it there in person) will get you a 1 year certification from Bastrop Scale Co. in Bastrop, TX (877-321-3443). Brian Darilek in the service department has experience with Boga Grips and is fisherman-friendly. Realize ahead of time that Boga-Grips are NOT able to be calibrated, so Bastrop Scale does a pass/fail test. If your Boga-Grip fails, don’t get mad at Bastrop Scale. That said, they haven’t had one fail, yet. Brian's at service@bastropscale.com

I've been going there for 2 years now.

After passing certification, you'll be issued a decal which will expire at the end of the month one year hence.

You're welcome to contact me with any questions you might have about this process.

HTL,

Could you please elaborate on the certification of scales that Bastrop Scale Co. does? Do they certify non-Boga scales? If so are there any brands that they do NOT certify? Do they Certify digital scales? Are they IGFA approved, certified, etc.?

Thanks,
TFP
