flathead ... world record channel is about 58# or so ... seems the texas record is 36

the record channel was 22 on lewisville so if it is a channel cat it would be atleast a lake and state record! thats awsome!

I will have to agree with the rest of the catfishermen here. Flathead for sure. Catfish just don't get that big.

I talked to a writer today with The Colony Courier. He will have a story coming out soon about the catch. It is a flat head without a doubt.
