flathead ... world record channel is about 58# or so ... seems the texas record is 36

the record channel was 22 on lewisville so if it is a channel cat it would be atleast a lake and state record! thats awsome!

I will have to agree with the rest of the catfishermen here. Flathead for sure. Catfish just don't get that big. uh...flatheads are catfish..so yes they get that big...so do blue catfish.

I talked to a writer today with The Colony Courier. He will have a story coming out soon about the catch. It is a flat head without a doubt.
