Well after dropping off Fatty Jr. at pre school I had a little bit of time to kill. So I decided to hit the 'Vine to wet a line. Boy I am glad I did. Third cast of the morning ,throwing a 1/4 oz blue/wht spinnerbait, a bass slammed it. I had my 8lb test and the drag went screaming off about 7 yards of line. Then another run as 4 yards more stripped off. I fought this sucker for a couple of minutes and got her in. It was a FAT big bass. Probally 4 + lbs looked like it had swallowed a softball. The fishing didnt slow down from there!!! I didnt move more than 5 ft from side to side and caught 19 fish in 1 hour. 17 bass and 1 sandy, all on spinnerbait. They were most around 1 ob, but several were 2+ lbs. It was a nice little hour of fishing . The wind was blowing in pretty hard and it was nice and cloudy. The vine is hot right now , go get ya some!!!
