you should have had a soft plastic on another rod and threw it right back in I would have dead stick that bait until she hit.

Stay away from red and gold hooks. They are always weaker than the black nickel ones since they are made with weaker material. Unless you use Mr. Blitz hooks which are painted red over black nickel. wink
