Can't wait until my daughter gets old enough to go. I am practicing by taking the nieces and nephews. I have learned that a great day is not measured by size of fish but rather by size of smile.

Seems like it was only days ago when I was having the same thoughts. It goes by quick!

Looks like a nice day at the pond. Hey Gil do you know any ponds that I could take my 3 year old to to catch a few perch in Burleson?

It does: http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...now_b#Post55916

T-Gil, you were one of several people who patiently answered my (numerous) questions when I first joined TFF three years ago. Believe it or not, I remember when said that you were looking forward to fishing with your little one (see the link above). It warms my heart to see that you've now been able to do that. wink

Smile-n-nod,
Thanks for the reminder, glad you were able to stumble across this forum back then. It's a wealth of knowledge, and looking at your post count compared to mine, looks like you've been passing on a little info yourself. cheers

I've had some fun along the way, both giving and getting. Thanks.
