Ray Bob is in great shape right now. The lake is full and the gates are closed. The water clarity is much improved. Plus the fish are biting. I can't remember ever seeing so many sand bass on the lake. I bet my clients yesterday caught 200 in a couple hours on slabs and traps. Bob even caught two at one time on a trap!! Enough on the sandies

The black bass fishing is VERY good right now. Boated over 30 today. Lots of slots fish too. Mainly fishing a carolina rig, with some topwater fish early. Few fish on flukes and spinnerbaits as well. Secondary points and drains are holding some nice fish.

Here are a couple of nice slot fish Johnny caught today. Biggest was right at 6lbs.





I got a nice 6lbr Saturday evening on our trip, with a rig.



Sam got another nice slot fish around 5lbs Saturday afternoon.



Kenya got this chunky fish Saturday morning on a topwater.



The crappie are biting as well. Mainly fishing brush piles with minnows and jigs. Better numbers on the jigs, but have to weed through the smaller fish.
