i have 1981 evinrude 70hp engine without trim and tilt.
i bought a blowen engine with trim and tilt
can someone explain the process i need take the trim of the old motor and what i need to do to put it on my motor.

Depending on the mount. If the mount is the same style with the
holes already there, just swop the trim/tilt to your mount.

If the mount is different you need to change out the complete mount.

Hope you got the relay box with the motor or you're in for quite an expense.

got the relay box , but i took of 6 bolts form the mount and the old motor how or whatelse do i need to get the trim of the old motor thanks

There is a pin that runs through the top of the center cylinder. There should be 2 keepers, clips, in each end of the pin. Remove those clips and drive out the pin. Be careful to not damage the pin. Once the pin is out the assembly can be removed. Where are you located??

The center section and transom mount is different between trim and non trim motors. So you need to use it with your power head. You will need to put your I.D. plate on it. Good Luck
