Okay, I finally found time to post the other half of the fishing trip. JD & I fished mainly in the mangroves and after fishing close to JV & James early in the morning, we didn't see them until we met up at the dock. For me, it was an awesome experience

Our guide called JD the Snook Man, because he caught numerous snook. He called me the Mangrove man, because I caught...well you get the point







JD fought a Jack for a good while, which was at least twice the size of the one I caught, before the hook broke off of the lure

We ended up catching 35 or so, snook, tarpon, jack's and snapper, but lost as many. Our guide, Enrique, fished along with us and at one point he yelled out "Big Tarpon" and immediately after that a tarpon about 4' long jumped clear out of the water right next to the boat, shook his head once and then Enrique said "He broke my line". That was an amazing site, for sure
The only bad thing is that I didn't catch any Yellow Bass
